Guarav Garg

Gaurav Garg focuses on semiconductor and systems investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2001, Gaurav was a Founder and Senior Vice-President of Product Management at Redback Networks (RBAK). Earlier, Gaurav held various engineering positions at SynOptics and Bay Networks. Gaurav has a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.

Promod Haque has more than 15 years of experience in the venture capital industry and currently serves as managing partner at Norwest Venture Partners. He joined Norwest in 1990. He has been ranked as a top dealmaker on the annual Forbes Midas List for the past six years, and in 2004, Forbes named him as the #1 venture capitalist based on performance over the last decade.  In 2006, Promod was presented with a Global Leadership award from NASSCOM. Promod focuses on investments in semiconductor & components, systems, software and services. He was an early investor and a board member of Cerent (acquired by Cisco), Siara Systems (acquired by Redback Networks), OnDisplay (acquired by Vignette), Winphoria Networks (acquired by Motorola) and Extreme Networks.

Ashar Aziz / Founder & CEO

Ashar Aziz

Ashar Aziz holds over 20 patents in the areas of networking, network security, and datacenter virtualization. Prior to FireEye, Ashar founded Terraspring, a company focused on datacenter automation and virtualization. Terraspring was successfully acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2002, where Ashar then served as CTO of the company's N1 program. Before Terraspring, Ashar spent twelve years at Sun as a distinguished engineer focused on networking and network security. Ashar holds an S.B. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he received the UC Regents Fellowship.
