FireEye knows more about cyber adversaries than anyone else, and we use this knowledge to drive both the innovation behind our solutions and to fuel our partners’ success. It takes a big team – thousands of people – to make all of this possible, and it takes an intelligent, driven, responsible, determined and poised leader to take the helm and ensure that the corporate ship is sailing in the right direction.
FireEye’s CEO, Kevin Mandia, embodies all of those characteristics and more. This is why we are particularly proud to share that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has included Kevin on its list of Top 100 Executives of 2018. Kevin is included on the list for streamlining FireEye’s go-to-market strategy around pricing, packaging and messaging, and for playing an integral role in shaping today’s IT channel.
It takes an individual with a great deal of experience to achieve this honor. Kevin has been FireEye CEO since June 2016 after joining the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in December 2013 when FireEye acquired Mandiant, the company he founded in 2004. Kevin has spent more than 20 years in information security, including time as a United States Air Force Officer, serving as a computer security officer in the 7th Communications Group at the Pentagon, and a special agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI).
When Our Channel Partners Succeed, So Does FireEye
We understand that the channel needs and wants an IT security partner that can help provide an easy-to-manage layered approach to security that is flexible, secure and offers centralized intelligence. Organizations all too commonly have a mix of disparate tools that do not work together, which results in a security process that is heavily manual, inefficient, and error-prone. Through new simplified channel-friendly pricing on integrated solutions such as FireEye Email Security, partners can be confident they are selling their customers the right security mix, while instilling peace of mind. These improvements came as a direct result of feedback we received from partners.
