Facing Forward: Cyber Security in 2019 and Beyond

As an industry, we should be very proud of the work we did in 2018. Still, while we have many accomplishments to celebrate as the year comes to an end, we also have a lot to think about and plan for if we want to stay ahead of threats in 2019. A single individual cannot provide all the answers. Rather, it takes a team of specialists providing detailed insights from their various areas of expertise.

With that in mind, for this year’s predictions report, Facing Forward: Cyber Security in 2019 and Beyond, we reached out to dozens of experts across FireEye, including senior leaders such as Kevin Mandia, as well as FireEye Threat Intelligence analysts, Mandiant incident responders, and FireEye Labs researchers. Additionally, we have included predictions specific to regions outside the U.S, including Asia Pacific, EMEA and Latin America.

These security mavens didn’t hold back, either. When asked about what to expect in 2019, they gladly thought long and hard to provide useful information on a wide range of topics such as attribution, staffing, cloud, intelligence, nation-states, the aviation industry, cybercrime, malware, and a variety of evolving tactics, techniques and procedures.

But wait…there’s more!
