Chief Executive Officer and Board Director
Kevin has served as FireEye Chief Executive Officer since June 2016 and was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors in February 2016. He was previously President of FireEye from February 2015 until June 2016. Kevin joined FireEye as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in December 2013, when FireEye acquired Mandiant, the company he founded in 2004. Before Mandiant, Kevin was the Director of Computer Forensics at Foundstone (acquired by McAfee Corporation) from 2000 to 2003, and the Director of Information Security for Sytex (later acquired by Lockheed Martin) from 1998 to 2000. Kevin also served in the United States Air Force, where he was a computer security officer in the 7th Communications Group at the Pentagon, and a special agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). He holds a B.S. in computer science from Lafayette College and a M.S. in forensic science from The George Washington University.
Travis has served as President of FireEye since June 2016. He was previously President of Mandiant Consulting and iSIGHT Intelligence, overseeing the organization that delivers FireEye incident response and strategic consulting services, as well as cyber threat intelligence solutions. Travis joined FireEye in December 2013, when the company acquired Mandiant, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Mandiant, Travis was co-founder of the Computer Forensic and Intrusion Analysis Group at Aegis Research Corporation (acquired by ManTech International), and a Special Agent with the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Travis studied executive education through Harvard Business School and holds a B.S. in criminal justice from Wayland Baptist University.
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Mike has served as FireEye Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer since June 2016, when the company united FireEye Finance and Operations teams. He joined the company in September 2015 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Before FireEye, Mike was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Informatica, and he earlier led finance and other operations for a number of technology companies, including IO, SolarWinds, and i2 Technologies. Mike holds a B.A. degree in finance from Augsburg College and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of St. Thomas.
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Grady oversees the global CTO team that supports R&D and product engineering. He joined FireEye through its acquisition of Mandiant in 2014. At Mandiant, Grady led the company’s strategic consulting and customer success divisions. Prior to Mandiant, Grady was a partner at Ernst & Young, responsible the firm's information security program management practice. Before E&Y, Grady was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at General Electric, overseeing a large global information security organization. Grady holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B. S. in computer systems from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Kara brings extensive experience in driving both product and corporate marketing programs in enterprise technology. Most recently Kara was CMO of Okta, where she was responsible for all aspects of Okta's marketing strategy including branding, communications, partner, customer, web, and field marketing. Before Okta, Kara held executive positions at a number of market-leading enterprise technology companies, including SAP Cloud, SuccessFactors, Cisco Systems, Network General (acquired by NetScout), and PeopleSoft before its acquisition by Oracle. Kara holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Executive Vice President of Business Operations and Chief Information Officer
As Executive Vice President of Business Operations and Chief Information Officer, Julie brings over 25 years of systems and programs experience in enterprise high tech companies to FireEye. Most recently she was Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing Operations at Autodesk, where she led the global rollout of new CRM, eLearning, and lead management systems, and evaluated new technologies and tools to improve productivity and optimize resources. Prior to Autodesk, Julie was senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations at McAfee, where she led the global sales and channel operations functions to drive go-to market strategies, best practices, systems, process, and productivity across five geographical theatres. Julie has also held executive roles at EMC, Asera, and Oracle. She received a bachelor's degree in Finance from Santa Clara University.
Executive Vice President of Customer Services
As Executive Vice President of Customer Services, Tony leads managed services, customer support and training services at FireEye. Tony has more than 20 years of experience leading services organizations at Documentum, Idiom, Segue Software, and Softbridge. Before joining FireEye, Tony was Senior Vice President of Customer Service at EMC. Tony graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Heading up the FireEye legal team, Alexa is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. Before FireEye, Alexa was Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Aruba Networks, Inc., a provider of enterprise wireless networks. Her early career included working at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop) and Fenwick & West. Additionally, Alexa served as founding director of Pathbrite, Inc. (formerly known as RippleSend, Inc.) from 2008 to 2009 and as advisor from 2009 to 2011. Alexa graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Eastern European Studies and received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, where she was named to the Order of the Coif.
Executive Vice President of Human Resources
Barbara is Executive Vice President of Human Resources and oversees the global human resource organization at FireEye. Before FireEye, Barbara was Vice President of Global Talent and Diversity at McAfee. She brings over 22 years of experience in high tech from roles at EMC, Documentum, and Cadence Design Systems. Barbara has led teams that delivered record numbers attracting and hiring top talent in high growth organizations. She is a recognized thought leader on global talent strategy and expansion. During her tenure at McAfee, Barbara helped found the first Women in Security affinity group. Barbara is also the recipient of YWCA's Silicon Valley TWIN award for outstanding executive leadership.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development
Ken is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for FireEye. Ken joined FireEye from Avast Software B.V., where he served as Chief Strategy Officer and was responsible for corporate strategy, business development, inbound licensing, and merger and acquisition processes. Prior to Avast, Ken held executive positions at both McAfee and Siebel. In his role at McAfee, Ken led the corporate development team through 16 acquisitions, multiple inbound licenses, and complex partnerships, ultimately concluding with the company’s $7.7B sale to Intel. At Siebel, he helped guide the company through 15 acquisitions, including its $6B sale to Oracle. Ken has also served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. Ken received his MBA in general management from Harvard Business School and his B.S. in civil engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, Software Licensing and Manufacturing Operations
Craig joined FireEye in August 2012 and is responsible for Hardware Development, Software Licensing and Manufacturing Operations. He brings over 30 years of rapid growth, high technology manufacturing experience to FireEye with both established and startup companies. He was most recently Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Juniper Networks, where he managed all of their manufacturing operations, component sourcing operations, and worldwide fulfillment and logistics teams. Before Juniper, Craig held executive positions as Vice President of Manufacturing and Customer Service at Good Technology, Vice President of Materials for 3Com, and Founder and Vice President of Manufacturing for NeTpower. He had a 13-year career in manufacturing at Hewlett Packard, where he began his career. Craig graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Logistics and Transportation Management from the University of Colorado.
Executive Vice President of Global Engineering and Security Products
As Executive Vice President of Global Engineering and Security Products, Jason oversees the teams responsible for developing FireEye cloud, network and endpoint products and evolving the company’s technology platform. Jason, who joined FireEye in 2013, previously led the company’s Global Cloud Services and Operations organization. Prior to FireEye, he was president and CEO of SecureDNA, which provides innovative security products and solutions to enterprises and government agencies throughout the United States and Asia. Jason also served as chairman of Authy.com and currently sits on the advisory board for OneMedNet. A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Jason has also co-authored several books on security technology and is a co-founder of the ShakaCon security conference, which is focused on increasing knowledge sharing and security community contribution and collaboration.
John Watters is President of iSIGHT, a cyber intelligence firm that was acquired by FireEye in January 2016. Founded by John in 2006, iSIGHT Partners built a global network of intelligence experts that extends the reach of FireEye’s threat intelligence capability. Prior to iSIGHT Partners, John was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of iDEFENSE, a security intelligence firm he sold to VeriSign in 2005. Over the past decade, he has been an active investor in other innovative cyber security companies, including TippingPoint Technologies, Archer Technologies, and Netwitness. John was previously the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EFO Holdings, and he has served on more than 20 corporate and non-profit boards. John graduated from Santa Clara University and attended London School of Economics.
