The presentation will provide an in-depth, technical analysis of evasion techniques used by malware and APTs to bypass capturing of its behavior by a file-based sandbox, which are commonly being used by the anti-virus Industry. The talk will present the ability of some of the commonly used file-based sandboxes to stand against these evasion tactics. The presentation will also contain a live demonstration of some of the anti-analysis techniques that have emerged recently.
