Helene Ervin and Karen Kukoda of FireEye Recognized as Part of CRN's '2018 Women of the Channel List'
MILPITAS, Calif, June 21, 2018 – FireEye, Inc. (NASDAQ: FEYE), the intelligence-led security company, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named FireEye employees Helene Ervin, Senior Manager, Sales Ops, and Karen Kukoda, Senior Strategic Alliance Director, to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for their outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.
CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
Karen Kukoda manages global cyber risk partnerships and is responsible for driving the FireEye cyber thought leadership agenda in the risk management, legal, and insurance marketplaces. She was named in the Women of the Channel List having developed these partnerships from inception to provide a new channel, generating $19M+ in revenue. This new route to market has transformed the company’s sales engagement strategy with new prospects and customers. She also created and developed global cyber risk partnerships, which have created a unique way for the FireEye sales team to align at the executive level and shorten sales cycles. A full 70% of sales from Karen’s partners are new customers.
Helene Ervin leads the Global Partner Operations team, supporting the network of FireEye partners and the entire internal partner organization. Helene earned the recognition from CRN because of her work in supporting FireEye to streamline its platform and partner content strategy. The company’s deal registration system, enablement portal, certification platform, and content repository used to be completely disparate tools. However, over the past 12 months, Helene and her team overhauled the entire infrastructure, created a new automated evaluation licensing process and launched a consolidated partner portal. Today, FireEye partners have one main portal to access all the functionalities they need and receive more streamlined support thanks to Helene.
“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”
“Having two members of our channel team represented in the 2018 Women of the Channel list is a fantastic achievement and I’d like to publicly congratulate Helene and Karen,” said Chris Carter, Vice President, Channels at FireEye. “Over the past year they have been an integral part of our efforts to enhance the experience our partners receive when working with us. When you take this improved channel approach and add our wealth of frontline experience and innovative products, it creates a compelling offering which I’m very proud of.”
The 2018 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc.
